Happy Birthday to the Princess….

Standard

Wow.. hard to believe she is 4… When they say time flies it REALLY flies..  I can remember the day we brought her home thinking holy cow I’m not going to make this.. I can’t believe I am in charge of this little life.

We had a busy busy day.. That morning she had her first Olympiad at Southeastern Gymnastics.. It was crazy kids running all over the place but she loved it.

A good time was had by all!!  She loves having all her friends over and we were so happy everyone shared in this special day!!

Another something special happened on that day too.. Savannah tied her paci to her balloons and let it go to heaven to be with all the babies who need them.  This is the last thing she has held onto that really needed to go.  She was such a big girl.  I was so proud of her. This was a very tough time for her. The paci has been her source of comfort for 4 years but she knew it was time to let it go and kept telling me she was going to do it when she turned 4 and she was true to her word.  The first attempt was a fail but we tied a few more balloons to it and off it went.

Of course it helped there was a pile of presents waiting for her when she let it go.  Nice trade-off don’t cha think..

The end to a great birthday

Later that night when it was time to go to bed she was sad and cried ” mommy I miss my paci” and I told her it was ok to miss her paci and she responded with ” I don’t want to be 4 anymore”…  After a few rough nights she has not looked back!!
